Posted by I often ride the bus to/from work downtown. It’s cheaper and faster than driving; plus it gives me a chance to relax, take a nap or read a book. Unless, that is, people are yammering away on the bus.
I don’t want to say that no one should ever talk on a bus but… well, shut the frak up! And let’s look at this issue straight up – more often than not, it’s females having these ridiculously inane conversations. I’m not trying to listen in on their idiocy but it’s just distracting. I’m trying to read a book and these people are talking about cellphones or some other mundane topic.
I suppose all this jabbering away helps to hide the emptiness of their lives and careers. If not, well, jeez, shut up!
